We took a long overdue trip to Frank Pepe's in Connecticut to try their world famous clam pizza. It was such a belter we knew we had to have a go at doing our very own version when we got home.
The finest clams were needed, so our destination had to be Linnane's Lobster Bar on the Flaggy Shore in County Clare, along the Wild Atlantic Way.
A member of co-owner Conor Graham's family, happens to be one of the only wild clam fishermen in the land. He sourced four stunning varieties of wild clams for us. We were off to a good start.
We packed up our Gozney Roccbox and headed on a road trip to Co Clare. What could go wrong? A lot apparently 😂
